This Policy governs not only the information we collect as a result of your visit to this website, but also any information you provide IMBC through the website, via email, or in any other type of communication you have with IMBC, including phone and SMS.

THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

Our website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the website. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you voluntarily complete one of our forms on our website, we will collect and store the information you provide which may include your name, email address, phone number, program of interest, comments and location. We will also collect and store details about your visit to our website, including technical information such as your device and browser, referring website, IP address, geographical information, and demographic information. This information is used to help us improve our website and analyze our website’s performance.

OPT-OUT

If you are receiving emails, SMS messages or phone calls from IMBC and you wish to no longer do so, simply contact us via email and we will assist you in unsubscribing.

AUTO-DIALERS, ROBOCALLS & SMS MESAGES

IMBC does not use “robocalling”. If you receive a phone call from IMBC, it is the result of you requesting information from IMBC or having someone request information on your behalf. If you are contacted and do not wish to receive further calls or SMS messages, please let us know.

THIRD PARTIES

If you provide us information about others, or if someone else provides IMBC your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us. Furthermore, we will only share your information as it relates to your enrollment at IMBC for the purposes of financial aid, textbooks, and with other parties IMBC has contracted with to provide you services.

FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), as amended, requires certain educational institutions, including IMBC, to establish and publish a written institutional policy regarding student privacy rights under FERPA. The law provides that except in limited circumstances the institution must not disclose, without appropriate consent, the education records of its students. IMBC’s FERPA policy is located in the IMBC catalog.

COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We may use cookies, for example, to keep track of your preferences and profile information. Cookies are also used to collect general usage and volume statistical information that does not include personal information.

We use another company to place cookies on your computer to collect non-personally identifiable information to compile aggregated statistics for us about visitors to IMBC.edu.

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and visitor activity to improve content and services for students and key stakeholders.
